The dynamics of the murder of 14-year-old Erald Xhejo by a peer outside a bar in the village of Pirg are revealed. Police arrested 8 people, including the father and uncle of the suspected perpetrators of the incident, 4 minors and 34-year-old Flori Çela, who attempted to hide evidence of the crime.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that Erald Xhejo and 14-year-old E. Guri, the perpetrator of the incident, had been fighting for a year over trivial reasons.
The suspected perpetrator lived in the village of Leminot, while the victim lived in the village of Pirg.
The clashes continued until yesterday, when they met by chance in the village of Pirg and started the conflict between them with the words, "Why are you in my village, why are you looking at me?" Friends of the two minors were also present.
During the argument, they got into a fight and the suspected perpetrator stabbed him with a knife. The victim only had one glove. After committing the crime, the perpetrator attempted to flee in the car of 34-year-old Flori Çela.
Police later discovered that Edison Guri, the 14-year-old's father, had removed his son from the scene, attempting to evade the police, while his uncle Roland Guri had taken the knife, washed it, and put it in his pocket, with the intention of destroying the evidence.
The suspected perpetrator was known as a problematic person who often skipped school, while on social media he posed with firearms and wrote messages: "I show up when I least expect it."

"Following the investigative and police actions carried out by the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the DVP-Korça, in cooperation with the services of the Maliq Police Commissariat and under the direction of the Korça Prosecutor's Office, in relation to yesterday's event, in the village of Pirg, where a 14-year-old was killed with a cutting tool (knife), allegedly by a peer, during a conflict for weak motives, the following were arrested:
-citizen EG, 14 years old, resident of the village of Leminot, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder" and "Irregular Driving". The 14-year-old was slightly injured during the conflict. He received the necessary medical assistance and left the hospital premises yesterday;
-citizens EG, 44 years old and RG, 44 years old, respectively the father and uncle of the 14-year-old, for the criminal offense of "Acts that hinder the discovery of the truth";
-4 minors, residents of the village of Zvirinë, for the criminal offenses of "Failure to report a crime" and "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth";
-citizen F. Ç., 34 years old, resident of the village of Leminot, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime".
