SPAK stood by the claim it had previously announced for businessman Pëllumb Gjoka and requested his sentence of 14 years in prison. While for former police officer Ardit Hasanbegaj, a sentence of 9 years in prison was requested. The claim was read for the second time, after the case was separated from the other defendants.
Gjoka and Hasanbegaj are accused of providing conditions to commit murder, criminal group and illegal possession of weapons. The hearing was postponed in order for the lawyers to present their defense.
Pëllumb Gjoka is being tried along with members of the Bajri criminal group on charges of murdering Gjin Ndoji in 2020. He was arrested along with other defendants in the "Metamorphosis" case.
