A clash was recorded in Golem, Kavaja, between the Police and a group of people, with one of them resulting in the security measure "house arrest".
In an official announcement, the Police informs that at around 19:10, the General Patrol of the Golem Police Post, together with the assistant specialist of the area on standby, during patrolling, found citizen AB, 38 years old, accompanied by other persons, on the street. He was stopped for verification after it was known by the Police that he was under "house arrest" for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire".
According to the blue uniforms, during the verification, the citizen was asked for an explanation for the breach of the security measure and was informed that he would be accompanied to the Kavajë Police Station for further action. In these circumstances, AB and his brother-in-law, citizen A. Sh., 23 years old, have forcefully opposed the Police officers, also assisted by other family members present.
To repel the people involved, the assistant specialist of the Golem Police Station fired once into the air with his service weapon. Later, other police services arrived in support, which escorted the people involved in the resistance to the Police to the police station.
Citizen AB was also escorted to the police station for violating the security measure.
Investigative actions for the case are being carried out by the Judicial Police Officer of the Durrës General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office, while the Police Supervision Agency has also been notified of the incident.
