A serious incident occurred on Wednesday evening in the village of Ostren, Bulqiza, where a 58-year-old man stabbed his 29-year-old son.
According to the official Police announcement, at around 11:00 PM on January 29, 2026, the citizen with the initials BN, after a momentary conflict for weak motives, is suspected of having struck his son KN with a cutting tool (knife) inside their apartment.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat went to the scene, where thanks to their quick response they prevented further escalation of the conflict. The suspected perpetrator was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto, while the cutting tool used in the incident was seized.
The injured young man has been transported to the hospital and is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.
