
The Special Court has found guilty and sentenced Vladimir Lushkaj and Pandeli Bozha, accused by SPAK of electoral corruption.
Pandeli Bozha, father of former PSD candidate for deputy in Fier, Limonera Bozha, was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison, but due to the summary trial, the sentence was reduced to 1 year in prison, converted into probation for 24 months, on condition that during this period he does not commit another criminal offense. He was found guilty of the criminal offense of “Active corruption in elections”, provided for by Article 328 of the Criminal Code.
While Vladimir Lushkaj was found guilty of the criminal offense of "Passive Corruption in Elections", under Article 328/b of the Criminal Code. The court decided to exempt him from punishment.
The court also seized as material evidence a 2,000 lek banknote, considered a reward for the criminal offense, as well as a sheet similar to the ballot papers where the candidate's name was marked in orange. Both of these pieces of evidence will be part of the trial file.
