Police suspect that after escaping from the Durrës hospital, Altin Ndocit was met by an Audi car, which, according to investigators, was where he had planned his escape.
"It is suspected that a white Audi A7 with license plates AA700RS was waiting for them in the parking lot of Durrës Hospital and then they left in the direction of the hospital," the sources said.
Police have launched intensive checks in Durrës and surrounding areas, while checkpoints have been set up and security cameras are being verified along the suspected escape route.
Ndoci was a SPAK defendant and was accused of serious crimes.
