New details have come to light regarding the escape of detainee Altin Ndoci from the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Durrës. It is reported that during medical visits, Ndoci was not alone, but was accompanied by another detainee.
Five Prison Police officers were assigned to escort the two detainees, three for direct escort and two others stayed in a van parked below the hospital.
According to information, Ndoci asked to go to the toilet and was accompanied by two officers. As soon as he came out, he allegedly hit and pushed the officers, taking advantage of the situation to quickly leave.
The escape occurred from the third floor of the infectious disease ward, while authorities continue investigations to fully clarify the circumstances and determine responsibilities.
