A serious incident has been recorded in the city of Lushnja, where a 44-year-old man, who had been declared missing a few days ago, was found dead. The victim, citizen F. Gj., was found hanging from a tree in the "Çlirimi" neighborhood, where he is suspected of committing suicide.
According to the official announcement of the Lushnja Police, on August 21, 2025, his sister had filed a report about his leaving the apartment, which led to the 44-year-old being declared wanted.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Lushnje Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for evaluation, after in the 'Çlirimi' neighborhood, citizen F. Gj., 44 years old, declared wanted on 21.08.2025, was found, suspected of hanging himself from a tree," the police statement said.
The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances. The reasons that may have led the 44-year-old to this extreme act have not yet been revealed.
