Shkodra massacre survivor Meri Kaceri underwent surgery today at the Trauma Hospital due to the damage she suffered in her arm from the barrage of bullets that Ragip Gila fired at her.
Kaceri had suffered numerous injuries and was at risk of losing her arm, but fortunately, doctors were able to perform the intervention and according to family members, the operation was successful. Meri Kaceri was injured in the bar where she worked as a waitress.
In the same incident, Erogen Vaso, a link to the Bajri criminal group, was also injured, while Armando Pali and Liridon Kraja alias Lushi were killed. According to investigators, Erogen Vaso was the target and it is suspected that the crime was ordered by the opposing group.
The Bajrams and the Licëts have been in a fierce conflict for years. Ragip Gila has been arrested for the macabre crime, while his two accomplices, Barush alias Bajram Bregu and a 17-year-old boy, have been declared wanted.
