The four young men who were at the bar where the serious incident took place in Manëz, where two people were killed after a conflict over a coffee, appeared before the Durrës Court this Saturday.
The trial panel decided on the security measures "compulsion to appear" and "ban on leaving the country" for the four arrested - Erald Cani (25 years old), Ergi Kadiu (21 years old) and the brothers Taulant and Emirian Beqaj.
The young men, all residents of Manëz, are accused of the criminal offense of "failing to report a crime" after they were at the scene of the incident, but failed to notify authorities about the collision that ended tragically.
The serious incident occurred a few days ago, when after a brief argument in a bar, Flori Paluçi, 33, and Aranit Kurti, 23, were shot to death. According to preliminary investigations, it is suspected that Paluçi shot Kurti first, while he was then killed by Daniel Pepa, who is wanted and suspected of being the author of Paluçi's murder.
The Durrës police and prosecution are continuing their investigations to fully uncover the event that has shocked the Manza community.
