Another serious loss has shocked the Azizllari family from Maliqi. Today, 6-year-old girl, Nefeli Hazisllari, who was being treated at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center in Tirana, in the Burn-Plastic Service, passed away after suffering severe burns to her body from a fire that engulfed her family's apartment.
The tragic event occurred on the morning of October 19, in a neighborhood of the city of Maliq, where flames engulfed the Azizllari family's apartment. As a result of the fire, the mother, Merjeme Azizllari (40 years old) and her 14-year-old son, Luka, lost their lives on the spot, while the minor Nefeli was transported in serious condition to Tirana.
Despite the efforts of doctors, the 6-year-old girl did not survive her injuries, bringing the number of victims of this tragic event that has shocked public opinion to three.
Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the exact cause of the fire, which is suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault in the apartment.
