The perpetrator of the robbery of a currency exchange point in the 5 May area on Thursday morning has been arrested.
The incident occurred at a currency exchange point inside a shopping mall in this area of the capital, where an armed person was able to steal an amount of 1 million and 200 thousand old lekë.
After the robbery, he fled on a motorcycle through the streets of the neighborhood. In a statement distributed to the media after the incident, the police said they had identified the perpetrator of the robbery.
