The first presentation by Minister Delina Ibrahimaj was not enough. Prime Minister Edi Rama chose a second presentation session for the new head of the inspectorates, turning the moment into a political and administrative message on the importance that the government gives to the reform in this sector. The event was also attended by former DP MP Dashnor Sula, who according to Rama represents a figure with political and legal experience who can contribute to the new phase of the reform.
The Prime Minister described this stage as a key moment, after a preparatory period that, according to him, focused on studying models and creating the conviction that the old organizational scheme should be overcome. Now, he emphasized, the reform enters the phase of in-depth implementation, which will also be accompanied by the construction of a new complex for the inspectorates, with the aim of concentrating and modernizing them in a single structure.
In his speech, Rama underlined that changing people is not enough if the system is not properly organized and if the direction is not clear. He emphasized professionalization, citing the need for cooperation with universities, continuous training and a system of financial bonuses to stimulate the performance of inspectors.
