Democratic Party MP and simultaneously chairman of the DP Youth Forum, Besart Xhaferraj, appeared today at the national protest organized by "Albania Becomes", under the leadership of Adriatik Lapaj, breaking the ice between the two opposition camps.
The presence of Xhaferraj, one of the leading figures of the democratic youth, is seen as a clear signal that the DP and "Albania Becomes" are putting aside previous clashes and moving towards a political rapprochement.
In this context, it is expected that on Monday Adriatik Lapaj will not step down from his position at the Prime Minister's Office to make way for Sali Berisha, but that the PD protest platform will be organized in cooperation between the two opposition forces, as another sign of new coordination.
