Despite rejections from other parties, the leader of Albania Becomes, Adriatik Lapaj, does not give up on the idea of uniting opposition forces against the Rama government. Recently, Lapaj has published 6 points on which cooperation between them should be based.
The "Albania Becomes Movement" Party appreciates the commitment and initiative undertaken by a group of intellectuals and citizens committed to the Political Dialogue Forum and that the position of the "Albania Becomes Movement" Party on the cooperation proposed by this forum is conditional on 6 points:
1. The creation of a citizen committee for the transitional government, which should have the objective of creating a transitional government composed of respected personalities with a limited 12-month mandate and clearly defined competencies, which guarantees the separation of power from party-state interests and the honest administration of the electoral process.
2. The placement of all interest groups in the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office in protest 24 hours a day without stopping and the organization of massive national protests aimed at the resignation of Edi Rama.
3. Comprehensive electoral reform, with open lists, based on the national proportional system, with the permission of pre-election coalitions, as a guarantee for real representation, equality of votes and fair political competition.
4. Participation in the dialogue table of political and party representatives without chairmen, to avoid personalizing the process and to prioritize representation, ideas and civic will.
5. Developing dialogue at a common table in the square, as a symbol of transparency, openness and sovereignty of citizens over the political process.
6. Enriching the negotiating group with prominent names from civil society.
We recall that the Together Movement refused any cooperation with other opposition parties, as according to them any call for cooperation serves the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha. While the Democrats seem to not want the leader of the Mundësia party to be part of this cooperation, as the DP MP, Edi Paloka accused Agron Shehaj of playing Rama's game.
