Today, Adriatik Lapaj made a public invitation to the "Together Movement" to join the protest he will organize tomorrow in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Invited to Report TV, Lëvizja Bashkë MP Redi Muçi rejected Lapaj's call, emphasizing that any attempt at cooperation goes in favor of Sali Berisha. Muçi stated that non-cooperation with Berisha is a "non-negotiable criterion" for Lëvizja Bashkë.
"Every call for cooperation is in favor of Sali Berisha. He and the Democratic Party lack moral legitimacy, and without this legitimacy, the protests have no effect. Edi Rama treats Berisha's protests with humor and irony," declared Muçi, also recalling that Berisha is under investigation by SPAK.
The MP also cited Lapaj's previous clashes with Endri Shabani, now People's Advocate, during the 2025 parliamentary elections, as an additional reason for the non-cooperation between the two new movements.
“Why don’t we cooperate with Adriatik Lapaj? If we had accepted their outstretched hand, we would have ended up at the point where our aunts and uncles would be involved in disputes with Shabani’s uncle and Adriatik’s aunt,” said Muçi, underlining past tensions as a decisive factor in the Joint Movement’s stance.
