SPAK completed the investigations and submitted for review to the Criminal Court of Kosovo the criminal file against former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, his partner, Erjola Hoxha, and his ex-wife Albina Mançka. They have been charged with corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets in connection with the incinerator affair. The charges have been communicated to the lawyers, because former Deputy Prime Minister Ahmetaj and his partner are in Switzerland, where they have requested political asylum. SPAK's investigations have shown that Ahmetaj has benefited from favors from the actual owners of the Tirana incinerator, Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto.
