Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, has provided serious details regarding the incident that occurred in Lezha, where several members of the family of former MP Arben Ndoka were involved in a gunfight with Ardjan Nikulaj's nephew and a police officer, inside a barbershop.
According to Lala, dozens of shots were fired during the clash, including about 30 with Kalashnikov automatic weapons. As a result of the shooting, the owner of the barbershop, Sokol Daci, who had no connection to the conflict, was seriously injured and is in serious condition in hospital.
The journalist emphasized that the conflict between the parties was previous and that, according to her, the state failed to intervene in time to prevent the situation from escalating, allowing both parties to be accompanied by police officers.
"If you look at the footage, it's clear that he was shot dozens of times.
The way the Police dealt with this incident, in the first moments they tried to relativize it as something trivial, to say that Sokol Daci, the owner of the barbershop, was injured. It was learned in the media that a police officer, today arrested, and the nephew of Ardian Nikulaj, Merando Nikulaj, were inside. Nikulaj and the armed employee went inside the barbershop. A few minutes later, two vehicles, several people with Kalashnikovs and baseball bats drove up and opened fire. The police fired from inside. Sokol Daci was left wounded, and is in a difficult health condition.
Three members of the family of former MP Arben Ndoka have been declared wanted, I think the state has failed to prevent it.
There was a fight between Merando Nikulaj and members of the Ndoka family in August of last year. Nikulaj hit two members of the Ndoka family with a vehicle, near the area that they consider a danger zone and do not allow anyone to approach. Instead of the state taking measures to prevent the incident, it allowed police officers to protect Nikulaj and some of the Ndokas. I see it as a problematic event, there is a thing in the north of the country, when it starts it does not know how to stop. He was killed by a bullet, we say, because shooting a Kalashnikov 30 times is like shooting a bullet. The officer fired a gun.
"The state, instead of establishing order, has been divided into parcels, some protecting one and some the other."
