The Port of Saranda has announced that due to deteriorating weather and sea conditions, sailing vessels have been prohibited from going out to sea.
According to a media release, this ban comes into effect from 30/08/2025, 06:00, and will remain active until an improvement in sea conditions and a second official announcement from the Saranda Port Authority.
The captain's office also warns all users of vessels that failure to comply with this order constitutes a legal violation and will be penalized according to applicable legislation.
NOTICE
Due to the deterioration of atmospheric and marine conditions, including high-intensity winds and waves beyond the permitted norms for safe navigation, any departures to the sea of floating vehicles, including tourist vessels, fishing boats and small boats, are PROHIBITED in the entire bay and coastal area of Saranda, Ksamil and Borsh.
