Other details come to light regarding the prosecution's investigations into Kristian Konin, whose assets have been seized as they are suspected of stemming from criminal drug trafficking activity and his ties to the Camorra mafia organization.
The files state that "From the verifications carried out, it has been evidenced that citizen Kristian Koni has carried out a considerable number of transactions for the sale and purchase of movable assets during the period 2013-2024."
It has been established that his mother, citizen Fitnete Meta, although listed as a pensioner, has been involved in several property transactions of relatively high values. Specifically: On 13.09.2014, Fitnete Meta sold the property to the buyer Elton Doma: "Apartment with an area of 124.6 m², located in Farka, Tirana", for the price of 50,000 euros. The payment method stated in the contract: The amount is considered liquidated as an obligation that Fitnete Meta had towards Elton Doma since 2012. On 04.11.2014, Fitnete Meta purchased from the seller "Ndërtim Vila Co" sh.pk, an apartment with a surface of . 79.51 m², on Rruga e Barrikadave, Tirana", for the price of 54,000 euros. In the notarial contract no. 996/169, dated 07.11.2006, it is stated that the amount was liquidated outside the notary's office, in its entirety, by the purchasing party. On 22.10.2018, Fitnete Meta sold the purchasing party Roland Sh., an apartment with an area of 79.51 m² and a garage with an area of 12.5 m²", for the total price of 10,823,831 lek. The payment was made through the notary's bank account, according to the declaration in the relevant act. On 23.12.2019, Fitnete Meta ordered an apartment and a parking space from the entrepreneur Flamur Hoxha for the price of 199,000 euros. The payment method was stated to be made in installments, in the entrepreneur's bank account, with income generated from the sale of an apartment and garage in Tirana. Also, as VNA reported, Kristian Koni had a disagreement with businessman Vesel Demiraj over the purchase of a villa. Demiraj's children survived an assassination attempt in Lundë and it is not known whether the conflict with Koni is a subject of the investigation. Regarding Kristian Koni alias Ols Meta, the prosecution has discovered that he carried out numerous transactions, at a time when his company Kriol.AL had no employees, but only him as a representative, while his mother was a pensioner and the income did not justify the purchase of assets in millions of euros. The assets are now under seizure, while Kristian Koni, who has several other identities, is under investigation for money laundering.
