New details have emerged from the court hearing at the Tirana Court, where the security measure "arrest with imprisonment" was imposed on Bardhyl Fusha, who robbed the Fibank branch in the Delijorgji Complex.
On the day of the incident, he left the rented house where he lived with a black bag, inside which he had hidden a Kalashnikov. At one point, he stopped near a construction site and talked to the workers. According to the prosecution, some of them complained about the payments, as Fusha had debts to them.
Apparently, drowning in debt and with no way out, he thought of robbing the bank. "The suspect was sitting in a bar opposite the bank and drinking coffee and raki," the prosecution said.
After consuming the brandy, he entered the bank and fired once with a gun. He then filled his bag with money, but as he was leaving, he realized that the door was locked. According to the prosecution, he went back inside and threatened the employee, saying: "I saw you close the door, open it or else...".
The moment the door opened, he was arrested by police. The father of two claimed that he committed the robbery because of debts.
