The two vehicles that were found in Babicë, Vlorë, a few days ago were to be used by a criminal group to carry out an attack. A citizen's phone call was enough to alert the police and the two vehicles were discovered; a "Nissan" and an "Audi Q5", both with stolen foreign license plates. 3 cans of fuel (gasoline) were also found inside the vehicles. The police were able to discover that one of the vehicles was stolen in Greece, while the other in Kavajë. The criminal group that would use them in the incident had also removed their chassis, to make the work of investigators more difficult. "From the initial investigative actions, it is suspected that these vehicles would be used to carry out a serious criminal incident," the police announced a few days ago.
The fact that the two vehicles were seized before any crime was committed has significantly increased the investigators' hopes of finding any fingerprints that could lead to the identification of the people who hid them in Babicë. After discovering the cars, the police are conducting several verifications for the location of some of the most dangerous exponents of the two criminal groups in Vlora, whether they are inside or outside the country.
