A burglary attempt at a private villa has claimed the life of a 46-year-old Albanian man in Italy, who fell from the balcony while trying to leave after the burglary, frightened by the homeowners' gunfire. According to preliminary information, the Albanian had entered the apartment with two other accomplices. The homeowners discovered them and fired into the air, causing panic among the thieves, who fled.
During the escape, the 46-year-old fell from a height of about two meters and is suspected of having suffered a deep gash in his leg, which later caused a severe hemorrhage that took his life. The Albanian managed to run about 20 meters before falling to the ground, where he later died.
Italian authorities have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Carabinieri are searching for two other people who are suspected of being part of the group. It is suspected that the vehicle in which the perpetrators approached the area may have been hidden nearby and that other people may have been waiting.
