The Tirana Court set the security measure "prison arrest" for Bardhyl Fusha.
He is accused of the attempted robbery of the Fibank branch.
The 58-year-old stated in the courtroom that he committed the act due to numerous debts.
"I did it under the great psychological pressure I have been living under for a long time due to the debts I have," he said.
Fusha entered the bank armed and, after firing a gun, took 8 million old lek from the cash register and put it in his bag. He was arrested before he could leave the bank.
