A serious accident occurred today on the Greek island of Naxos. According to Greek media, two young Albanians, aged 17 and 20, were riding a motorbike when, under still unclear circumstances, the driver lost control.
The motorcycle crashed forcefully into a tree trunk, resulting in the death of the 20-year-old passenger and serious injury to the 17-year-old driver.
The injured person is in critical condition.
Police are investigating the exact causes of the accident, with no evidence so far to indicate whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
