
More details have come to light regarding the mafia execution of Artur Bashimi in the Agios Panteleimonas neighborhood of Athens. The moment of the murder of the 47-year-old from Gjirokastra was filmed by a security camera, which was reviewed by the investigative team.
The footage shows that the perpetrator moves alone, wearing dark clothing, a helmet, a motorcycle jacket and gloves, so as not to leave any traces. According to Greek media, he approaches Bashimi and shoots him in the chest. He tries to shoot him again, but his gun jams. Police said they found a spent shell casing and an unfired cartridge at the scene.
