The police have provided new details about the serious accident that occurred this afternoon at the TEG roundabout, where a concrete pump truck collided with a vehicle and ended up on the lower level of the TEG-Elbasan road axis.
According to preliminary police information, the incident occurred at around 16:20, where the truck broke through the metal protective barriers of the roundabout and fell to the lower part of the road, in the direction of Elbasan.
As a result of the collision, one of the people traveling in the truck is suspected to have died at the scene, while the other person was transported to the hospital and is in serious condition.
The two people in the concrete pump truck have not yet been identified. Police are working to determine whether the victim was the driver of the heavy vehicle or another person in the cab.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, the citizen with the initials RN, about 28 years old, has been taken to hospital and is out of danger.
