
At the request of SPAK, the Special Court seized the assets of Hajdar Lala, alias Xaka alias Sefa, Islam Sefa, alias Xaka, and Vidjan Baroka, as well as those associated with them, as it is suspected that these assets derive from money obtained from drug trafficking. The decision was made by Special Judge Etleva Deda.
The list of seized assets includes olive groves, apartments, land, commercial companies, etc.
Islam Sefa was arrested in July 2024 by SPAK, after being accused of being the leader of a criminal drug trafficking group in Germany, worth 3.3 million euros. SPAK, through a press release, announced that 12 members of the group, 8 Albanian citizens and 4 German citizens, have been identified from the investigations.
According to SPAK, the criminal group, during the years 2020-2021, has imported into the Federal Republic of Germany, in several episodes, significant quantities of narcotic substances of the type of marijuana. The quantity of narcotic substances was mainly provided from Albania and Spain, which, after entering German territory, was traded in the Wolfsburg, Magdeburg region, as well as in other countries of the European Union.
"During the investigations, 9 (nine) episodes were identified and it was proven that the quantity of narcotics trafficked is 912 kg of marijuana, while the value of the narcotics trafficked amounts to 3,374,400 (three million three hundred seventy thousand four hundred) euros," SPAK announced.
