SPAK completed the investigations into another faction of the "Metamorphosis" case and submitted the criminal file against several characters considered crime bosses for trial.
The list of defendants is headed by Ervis Martinaj, considered the king of gambling, even though he has been missing for 4 years. The list is followed by Aleks Ndreka, known as Leksi i Druve, who has survived several assassination attempts, and Prekë Kodra, known as the sniper.
Bardhyl Mavraj, the brother of Safet Bajri, the latter considered the strongman of Dobraç, has also been named as a defendant.
Special prosecutors accuse the defendants of the murder of Gjin Boriç Ndoji in Vau e Dejës, creating the conditions to commit the murder of Ibrahim Lici and his two friends, Dorian Duli and Genc Tafili, as well as creating the conditions to kill Kleant Musabelliu, the latter on behalf of the strategic investor and arrested businessman Pëllumb Gjoka.
The defendants are charged with: "Premeditated murder", committed in a special form of collaboration, that of a structured criminal group; "Structured criminal group"; "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization"; "Providing conditions and means to commit murder"; and "Unauthorized possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition".
Within the framework of the coded file "Metamorphosis", other characters from the criminal world have been arrested or charged, some of whom are being tried at the Criminal Court, while others continue to be under investigation.
