The renowned pianist and professor Koço Vrame, one of the most prominent figures of Korça's art and culture, has passed away, leaving behind a precious artistic and pedagogical legacy.
For more than five decades, Koço Vrame contributed with dedication, professionalism and passion to the cultural life of the city of Korça. As a virtuoso pianist and respected pedagogue, he played an important role in the formation of new generations of musicians and in the development of the Korça Symphony Orchestra, to which he provided valuable and continuous assistance.
With his heartfelt interpretations and tireless work in the field of music education, Koço Vrame became an inseparable part of the city's cultural history, earning over the years the respect and appreciation of colleagues, students, and art lovers.
The distinguished pianist had long suffered from a serious illness, liver cancer.
