Journalist and analyst Namir Lapardhaja has passed away at the age of 40.
Namir joined the Tema newspaper in September as a political editor, but also as a contributor to the culture section, which he had a particular passion for. He was an engaged citizen, living between teaching, journalism, and his activism as a worthy citizen of Berat.
A cultured and open-minded boy, who came from a family persecuted by the communist regime, Lapardhaja was also an outspoken critic of the impasse of today's Albanian right-wing and especially of the problems experienced by today's opposition.
He is the author of books, essays, and a large number of articles that will remain his cultural legacy for society and his family.
VNA expresses its condolences to his family.
