Today's plenary session began with debates between the opposition and the majority on the SPAK request for the arrest of Belinda Balluku. The opposition requested that its report in favor of lifting Balluku's immunity be included on the agenda. Gazment Bardhi said that the majority is extending the review and there is only one week left for the request to be considered rejected. Meanwhile, the head of the SP group, Taulant Balla, responded that they are within the 2-week deadline to draft their report, which they will bring to the Assembly during the March 12 session together with the opposition's report.
In today's session in the Assembly, new ministers are expected to be sworn in, following the decree a day earlier by President Begaj of 7 changes to the government, proposed by Prime Minister Rama.
As soon as the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, requested a change to the agenda for voting on the decrees for the appointment of new ministers, Berisha and the DP deputies blocked the podium.
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, told Elisa Spiropali that she is a victim of Belinda Balluku.
"You are Lubia's most insignificant and most deserving victim at a time when Albanians' eyes were directed towards her as if she were a black raven, you come to us as a bride dressed in white. But why do you remember that Lubia ate grass? You have it from yourself. Not that you did not protect her, on the contrary, rejoice that now you would become deputy prime minister. You did not expect that this was another clone of Lubia. " said Berisha
Spiropali replied to him about leaving.
"Every duty here in the Albanian Parliament is a great honor. I am clear, I am calm, the only thing I regret is that Sali Berisha announced the departure and not someone else. That's the only reason I'm surprised, that the word came up, nothing else," said Spiropali.
Gazment Bardhi and Taulant Balla were involved in a debate about Belinda Balluku's immunity. The DP requested a vote today on whether or not to lift the immunity, while the leader of the SP group Taulant Balla told the opposition that they have 2 weeks to prepare their report, which is expected to be voted on in the March 12 session. While Balla was speaking, Bardhi called him a "gang soldier".
