A meeting organized with members and supporters of the Democratic Party in the former Këneta area of Durrës did not pass without critical tones. During the conversation, one of the Democrats directly addressed Sali Berisha with a clear message about the organization and representation in the party.
"The MPs who are here, as many as there are, should come out before us, go door to door, mobilize the voters, because there are not a few of them, and continue to organize. Here, it is not even known who the party leader is. We want a leader to represent us," he said.
The statement comes at a time when the Democratic Party continues to face internal organizational challenges and divisions that have been reflected on the ground. The direct criticism in Berisha's presence highlighted the dissatisfaction of part of the base for the lack of structuring and clear communication with the electorate.
