The Democratic Party led by Sali Berisha has announced the reactivation of its original Facebook page, calling the development another victory in the battle for the party's symbols and name.
The official announcement states that, following the final decision of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana (Decision No. 723, dated June 11, 2024), which confirmed the legal rights over the name, seal and symbols of the Democratic Party of Albania, the Facebook page will be restored from the temporary name "Euroatlantic Democrats" to "Democratic Party of Albania".
Thus, after the battle for the seal and the headquarters, the Democrats are also celebrating the return of an important political asset: the social network page.
The irony is that the page in question had lost not only its name, but also its political "stamp" for months, while Lulzim Basha - who carried it - has disappeared from the public scene for almost a year, leaving behind a profile that looked more like an archive than an opposition platform.
But in politics, every return of symbols is called a victory. Even when the battle is over a password.
