The Democratic Party will hold its next national protest on March 12. The date was announced today by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media before the meeting with the Democratic parliamentary group.
Thursday next week seems to be the day when Belinda Balluku's immunity could be reviewed in Parliament. We recall that a day earlier Berisha declared to the media that the next protest would be called on the very day when the immunity of the former Deputy Prime Minister would be reviewed.
However, it remains to be seen, as so far there is no official confirmation on the matter in question.
Berisha further accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of attempting to divert Albanians' 33-year orientation towards Europe in connection with the joint editorial with Aleksandar Vučić.
The chief democrat said that Rama is acting in this way because, according to him, he is "back against the wall" in the face of the files that burden him and his family.
