The "Albania Becomes" movement was forcibly removed from the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where it had been protesting for a week, demanding the resignation of the "Rama" government after the Llogara tunnel tender scandal, where Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku was taken into custody by SPAK and suspended from duty with a security measure by the GJKKO.
After the police intervened and the security fence was installed, the protesters led by Adriatik Lapaj moved a few meters further, near the Presidency of the Assembly, where they continued their protest by lighting stoves for heating.
During the move, there were also clashes with the police, as well as allegations that a protester was injured. Lapaj mocked the police's action, describing it as a denial of the right to protest.
