A clash between police and Adriatik Lapaj supporters occurred this afternoon in front of the Prime Minister's Office, during preparations for the protest by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha. The tensions began when police were taking measures to establish a security perimeter in the area.
During the clash, one of the protesters suffered a broken leg, where he received assistance from an ambulance and was then transported to the hospital.
After the police installed the railings, Adriatik Lapaj and his supporters moved to a corner of the Boulevard to free up space for Berisha's protest. Lapaj said they will return in front of the Prime Minister's Office as soon as the DP rally ends.
