The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, seems to have been haunted by the mania for endless talking when he takes the floor, even at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The leader of the democrats did not have enough time to denounce the government's affairs in Albania and continued his speech even when his microphone was turned off.
The chairwoman reminded them that the microphone had been turned off and was not being interpreted for the other MPs, and then gave the floor to the next MP on the discussion list.
Berisha began his speech by referring to this topic and Russia's interference in electoral processes, but then moved on to the situation in Albania, where he said that 28 MPs have entered Parliament with the support of crime.
However, his time ran out when he was talking about the affairs of the AKSHI, for which Berisha continued even with the microphone turned off. But, unlike what can be done in the Albanian Parliament, in Europe the rules are strict and time is equal for everyone, regardless of who and what is being discussed.
