DP leader Sali Berisha has accused Prime Minister Rama of intending to "privatize" the AKSHI tenders in favor of his cronies.
In his speech, Berisha described the initiative as a "fatal blow to the rule of law" and accused the majority of creating a "shield" for the prime minister.
"Even the most savage occupier would try to mask such hostile and humiliating activity against citizens. What you are doing is a great crime against the Constitution and the rule of law," Berisha said.
He added that the Constitution provides for suspension from office in some cases, while according to him, the majority is trying to prevent this through procedural changes. Berisha called the proposed draft "the law of Linda Surrel and the AKSHI", claiming that it aims to ensure that tenders of this institution are passed in a favored manner.
"These that you have introduced are suspended by the constitution, and you are seeking to prevent the suspension through procedure. Today you have brought the Linda law. It is the law of Linda of Surrel and the ANA. The baxhanaku wants to take the tenders privately, those that he took by hostage, he will take the tenders of the ANA by law," said Berisha.
