After the publication of several news reports in the media warning that Iran may have Camp Ashraf 3 among its missile strike targets, the latter's spokesman, Shahriar Kia, has reacted. He states that this news is propaganda orchestrated by the Iranian regime and stressed that there is no possibility that Albania will be targeted.
"The news published by Iran about the possibility of a missile attack on Ashraf 3 and their coverage in some Albanian media are simply propaganda orchestrated by the Iranian regime. This is being done for psychological warfare purposes, with the aim of creating concern and chaos in Albania, in function of their objectives," Kia said. He added that the claims are baseless and not based on any facts.
The camp spokesman added that this propaganda war is being carried out in close coordination between the Iranian regime and its local agents in Albania, to increase its resonance and spread as much as possible. He also emphasized that technically, the Iranian regime's missiles do not have the capacity to reach Albania. Shahriar Kia concluded by underlining that any information about possible attacks on Ashraf 3 is false and only aims at psychological pressure on the Albanian population and authorities.
