Prime Minister Edi Rama dismisses Police Chief Ilir Proda from duty.
After the clash between them following the Molotov cocktail attack by opposition protesters on the former villa of dictator Enver Hoxha, Rama made it clear to Proda that he would dismiss him from office for incapacity. Ilir Proda did not wait for the dismissal at the government meeting, but submitted his resignation, which was signed immediately.
