Shkodra police have arrested another resident of Baks-Rrjoll who clashed with private security guards at the Bashkim Ulaj resort under construction.
The clash began after private security employees tried to prevent residents from protesting at the construction site, claiming their property was being looted. A security employee was also injured in the clashes, while 4 arrests, 6 people under investigation and 15 wanted persons were announced yesterday.
Today, it was announced the arrest of another person, 51 years old, accused of destruction of property and intentional serious injury.
According to the authorities, "citizen NM, together with other people, organized the protest in the village of Rrjoll, where residents of the area say that their homes are being taken away to build a tourist resort."
According to the police report, the 51-year-old, along with others, attacked employees of the private security company and destroyed machinery belonging to the company carrying out the work.
