The Gener 2 company owned by Bashkim Ulaj has strongly condemned the events that occurred today in Rrjoll, describing them as a serious act of violence against law and order in Albania.
According to the company's statement, unauthorized persons have forcibly entered the construction site, have exercised physical violence against employees, have beaten people present, and have broken work equipment and damaged machinery.
Gener 2 describes this as a criminal attack that not only undermines a private investment and the investment climate in the country, but also creates a dangerous precedent, where - according to it - violence replaces court decisions and crowds decide over institutions.
In response, the company expresses concern about the lack of preventive response from the responsible bodies, specifically the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, claiming that it was aware of the tensions in the area, but did not take action to avoid escalation.
Gener 2 also accuses several portals and politicians of inciting a climate of conflict, describing them as factors that have fueled tensions for certain interests.
The company calls on the State Police and the justice authorities to identify the perpetrators, organizers and instigators of the violence and to hold them legally accountable without tolerance. At the same time, it asks the High Inspectorate of Justice to examine the actions and inactions of prosecutors in this matter.
Finally, Gener 2 urges the government to guarantee the security of legal investments and calls on political forces not to encourage violence, emphasizing that the project will continue in accordance with the law, despite the current situation.
