The Elbasan police have arrested Valter Bami, who violated the house arrest measure by being caught in a vehicle as a passenger. According to official sources, during a routine traffic control, the police services stopped an Audi vehicle, which was driven by a citizen. During the verification, it was found that the passenger in the vehicle was Valter Bami, against whom the house arrest measure had been imposed.
At the time of his arrest, Bami asked the police officer not to delay the search, claiming that he was in a hostile state. However, after full identification, he was escorted to the Elbasan Local Police Directorate for further procedures.
Valter Bami, Durim Bami's brother, is accused of being involved in the assassination attempt that occurred in Larushk, Kruja, where 29-year-old Ramazan Sino, Gentian Bejtja's brother-in-law, was killed, who is suspected of being the real target of the incident.
