A 62-year-old man has died after an accident at the Thekna mine in Martanesh. According to police, the victim, who was an administrator at the mine, died as a result of injuries sustained during the accident. Several people have been detained in connection with the incident for further investigation.
NOTICE
On 04.11.2025, at around 10:15, in a mining entity in the Thekna area, Martanesh, it is suspected that during a check at the work front, citizen SK, about 62 years old, with the position of administrator in this entity, was injured and died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Following the actions, the Police have accompanied several members of the management and technical staff of the mining entity, in order to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to fully document the causes of the incident.
