A conflict over property rights in the Fresku area has ended with physical violence against a citizen, while the police have initiated proceedings against three people involved and suspended an inspector for inaction.
According to official information, Crime Investigation specialists at Police Station No. 4 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and initiated proceedings in the absence of citizens PA, 33 years old, and SA, 52 years old. Meanwhile, citizen SA, 27 years old, has been declared wanted.
The incident occurred this morning, when citizen DK was punched by SA, 27, and his cousin PA, after a dispute over property. It is also suspected that SA, 52, threatened DK over the phone.
Police are searching for the 27-year-old and are working to locate and seize the vehicle in which he fled the scene.
In relation to this event, the Director of the Tirana Local Police Directorate has suspended Inspector PM from duty for serious inaction in the performance of his duties, and has ordered the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against him.
Work continues on the complete documentation of the case. The procedural materials have been submitted to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
