The appeal of the Special Court of Appeals upholds the decision of the Special Court of Appeals for the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako. This is the decision taken on November 25 of last year, through which the Special Court sentenced Vagjush Dako to 2 years and 8 months in prison.

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of judges Engert Pëllumbi (presiding), Miliana Muça (member) and Iliriana Olldashi (member), today on 16.09.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 27 act, date 02.04.2025 registration, on the appeal of the defendants/appellants VD, FF, AB, against decision no. 70, date 25.11.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, and decided:
1. Dismissal of the appeal of the defendant FF against decision no. 70, dated 25.11.2024, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime;
2. Enforcing decision no. 70, dated 25.11.2024, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime;
3. The court costs, including those of the appeal trial, shall be borne jointly by the defendants;
4. Promulgated in Tirana, today, 16.09.2025.
