Dozens of residents of Dragostunja have clashed verbally with police officers over a roadblock near the area known as Arrat e Gurrës. Residents say the roadblock is isolating them and creating serious difficulties in their daily lives, hindering traffic to other areas.
Some of them require immediate intervention to create an alternative crossing, while others require at least allowing pedestrian crossing in emergency cases.
The axis has been closed by authorities due to the high risk of landslides and significant damage to infrastructure. A security perimeter has been set up in the area, in order to prevent possible incidents, while ground movements are reported as active.
On the other hand, police sources say that the measures taken are aimed exclusively at guaranteeing the safety of citizens, given that the area is considered high-risk.
