Miklovan Dakaj, 30, from Shkodra, was found dead on the coast of Marbella after being reported missing since May. His relatives received a telegram confirming the murder and warning them not to look for him again.
Dakaj was involved in cocaine trafficking and international clans. His disappearance was reported in both Spain and Albania, and his whereabouts remained unknown until his body was found.
The last person he met was Juxhin Drazhi of the Troplini clan.
The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation in Marbella. So far, no arrests have been made and authorities have not given details about the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body.
Likewise, Spanish authorities are cooperating with Albanian authorities to clarify the incident, while calling on citizens not to spread unfounded messages or information about the case.
