The High Prosecutorial Council dismisses Aida Hajnaj, director of the BKH. 6 members voted to end her mandate on August 31, 2025, while 4 were of the opinion that her mandate should end on another date.
Members of the prosecutors' government, Erind Mërkuri, Sokol Stojani, Olger Eminaj and Erind Gërmenji voted for the end date of Hajnaj's mandate to be September 1. Erjon Fejzulla, Arta Mandro, Zeqir Hoda, Ledina Rizaj, Mirela Bogdani and Vatw Staka voted for Hajnaj's mandate to end on August 31.
There are seven candidates in the race for the head of the BKH. At the end of the process, SPAK is expected to submit the name of the candidate for appointment.
